Ari is unstoppable. Every day is an opportunity, every idea inspires her, and every new conversation is music to her ears.

She fell in love with the association community when running a digital publication and online community for association professionals.

She was inspired to found Matchbox because she is absolutely obsessed with connecting people and ideas.

Her pet peeve is walking slower than a jog, and her guilty pleasure is slow internet connections because she’s permitted to stop moving.

Paolo Melgarejo

CTO

Paolo truly embodies partnership. He applies his creativity and problem-solving skills into everything he does, he’s the most humble about having the most bad ass track record (he has built dozens of successful products used by the likes of Google and Microsoft!), and he might be one of the funniest people we’ve ever met!

His patient listening, insightful action-taking, and top-notch organizational abilities make every project successful.

Carrie McIntyre

Chief Revenue Officer

While we originally hired Carrie through her consulting business, we discovered that her experience makes Carrie perfectly primed to help our clients succeed.

She has spent her career on all sides of the association/ member/ vendor ecosystem, and is well known for her thought leadership in helping associations generate non-dues revenue.

Carrie loves trying new things and she’s had a go at painting, kayaking, knitting, rock climbing, crafting cocktails, skydiving, guitar, and improv!

Maria Rehakova

Lead Experience Designer

If we had to take a guess, Maria probably gets the most Slack messages from anyone because she is such a connector of our whole ecosystem.

She has been with the team before we even had a name, and her innovation was one of the reasons why we launched the company.

Her hats range from product management to QA to UX design. Though we try not to let her know it, we enter into a little bit of chaos when she is on vacation.

Sarah Robertson

Sarah is endlessly curious and always chasing her next creative challenge. Her sunny personality, thoughtful approach, and strong project management skills make collaborating with her feel easy, energizing, and fun — no matter the project.

Whether she’s building engaging event experiences, brainstorming fresh marketing ideas, mastering a new skill like crafting mocktails, or setting ambitious reading goals she somehow exceeds every year, Sarah brings enthusiasm, creativity, and a can-do attitude to everything she does.

Jess’s career journey from the sciences to event management gives her a uniquely analytical approach to building connections, solving problems, and creating meaningful experiences. Her scientific background fuels her thoughtful approach to leadership and client communication, always digging into the “why” and “how” behind the work.

Equal parts intuitive problem-solver and dependable teammate, Jess loves turning complex challenges into streamlined solutions and somehow makes the process feel fun along the way.
